Woodfac is a high-quality wooden facade cladding that can change the appearance of buildings and at the same time protect the underlying facade from wear and tear caused by environmental influences.

Woodfac is a modular facade solution with Wooden lamellae for exterior use. Woodfac is manufactured specifically for each individual construction project. The lengths of the Wooden lamellae are therefore freely selectable - just as the facade solution can be designed with freely selectable and variable cc spacing and can be installed vertically, horizontally or as a ceiling.

The possibilities are endless and Woodfac is suitable for both new builds and renovations. In addition, the Facade system can be extended for future needs - without visible transitions - and last but not least, it is easily removable and reusable for other facade projects.

We offer two different Facade systems , depending on your requirements.

Woodfac Click is an open system with a view of the building's facade below. Among other things, this makes it possible to create lively architecture through depth, light, shadow and color as well as material combinations.

Woodfac Panel, on the other hand, is a closed system that serves as weather protection. Here, the Lamellae are mounted on an aluminum panel structure that protects the building from the weather. The rear ventilation ensures that the facade can continue to "breathe".

Our Wooden lamellae are supplied in the desired type of wood, including, for example, thermal pine and cedar wood. All Wooden lamellae are thermally treated, which ensures dimensional stability and a long service life of up to +30-50 years, depending on the type of wood.

Alufac is our modular aluminum exterior wall cladding. Just like our timber facades, Alufac is a flexible Facade system in which the facade slats are customized for each individual project and installed with the desired slat lengths and cc spacing.

The many possibilities of facade cladding make it easy to adapt it to an existing building that you want to give an architectural visual boost.

Alufac is made exclusively from Greenline aluminum, which is 100% collected and recycled. We provide both the Greenline certificate and EDP reports for all our facade solutions, documenting the best EDP values on the market as well as a facade cladding with a low carbon footprint.

Our exterior aluminum façades are also completely maintenance-free and have an expected service life of over 70 years.

Our Wooden lamellae are made from FSC®- or PEFC™-certified wood, while our aluminum slats and panels are made from recycled Greenline aluminum. The fire retardant we use for fire protection is also sustainable, as it is made from 100% natural, biodegradable and non-toxic substances.

THERMAL MOVEMENT

Thermal movement refers to the natural expansion and contraction of materials as a result of temperature fluctuations.

Thermal movement is integrated into all our facade solutions so that the individual components can move independently of each other. This ensures that there is no internal stress, strain or structural damage to the individual components or the entire façade solution.

ALUMINIUM STRUCTURE

The structure and profiles of the façade system are made from certified recycled aluminum.

Greenline® aluminum is made from 100% collected and recycled aluminum and has an extremely low carbon footprint of only 1.8 kg CO₂-eq./kg, compared to primary aluminum, which has a footprint of 11.1.

Wooden lamellea

Wooden lamellae are made from FSC®- or PEFC™-certified wood, which ensures sustainable and responsible forestry.

A Cradle-to-Cradle-certified flame retardant is used for the fire impregnation of the wooden slats. It is made from 100% natural substances, is non-toxic and VOC-emission-free, and is completely biodegradable.

The thermal treatment of the Lamellae ensures dimensional stability and an exceptional service life of up to 50+ years, depending on the type of wood.

Another special feature of the facade from Nordisk Profil is that it is installed completely without visible screws. This gives the façade a clean and clear appearance that is not disturbed by drill holes in the beautiful wooden slats.

FIRE-SAFE FACADE SYSTEM

Nordisk Profil sets very high standards for fire protection and is at the forefront of end-user solutions.

In fact, as an installed Facade system , Woodfac is the only facade solution on the market that has been tested and approved in accordance with European standard EN 13501-1. And passed according to B-s1,d0 / B-s2,d0 - depending on the type of wood.
