Western red cedar

Western Red Cedar is an excellent choice for slat cladding.

The wood is not thermally treated, but has a natural resistance to rot and fungi, comparable to thermally treated wood.  

This type of wood also has a low density, which gives it good insulating properties and makes the material easy and pleasant to work with. Despite these properties, it is extremely durable and robust. In addition, it has been tested as a Facade system in end-use tests and has a documented fire classification.

Accoya is a beautiful, sustainable material with Cradle to Cradle Gold certification.

The appearance is bright and natural, the quality is first-class and the service life is impressive at over 50 years.  

The wood is not thermally treated, but produced by a process in which its cell structure is modified to improve its resistance and dimensional stability.  

Accoya is ideal for building projects where the fire protection classification D-s2,d2 can be applied.

What is a Woodfac panel?

Woodfac Paneel is a unique development that combines climate protection, fire safety and strong architectural expression.

The Woodfac Panel consists of several high slats, which are mounted on a construction of recycled aluminum. The design can be customized, with the possibility to mount the Lamellae horizontally as well as vertically and with a variable pitch base (CC-afstand).

In keeping with the size and style of the level project, we provide a complete solution that meets both architectural and design requirements.
With Woodfac Paneel, only the paneling sets the limits for the design and the possibilities of the level.

The Woodfac Panel is a suction system that functions as a climate sensor. Het systeem consistaat uit valgfrie trælameller gemonteerd op alupaneler.

Alupanelerne beschermt gebouwen tegen weersinvesteringen en heeft een achterliggende ventilatie, die ervoor zorgt dat de gevel kan "opengaan".

De paneeloplossing bestaat uit een combinatie van variabele enkele-, twee- en achterpanelen met staande huller voor gevelskruer, ter Skjules, na het samenvoegen van de panelen en clips.

THERMAL MOVEMENT

Thermal movement refers to the natural expansion and contraction of materials as a result of temperature fluctuations.

Thermal movement is integrated into all our facade solutions so that the individual components can move independently of each other. This ensures that there is no internal stress, strain or structural damage to the individual components or the entire façade solution.

ALUMINUM STRUCTURE

The structure and profiles of the façade system are made from certified recycled aluminum.

Greenline® aluminum is made from 100% collected and recycled aluminum and has an extremely low carbon footprint of only 1.8 kg CO₂-eq./kg, compared to primary aluminum, which has a footprint of 11.1.
